What to bring?

Food: While we would encourage you to avail of the food on offer from some of the vendors attending the festival this year you may also consider bringing a picnic.  Especially if you plan to stay all day and have the whole family with you.   Also, if you do decide to bring a picnic make sure you bring a picnic mat.  Please dispose of any waste in an appropriate manner and tidy up after you have eaten.

Water: A water station will be provided. Make sure to keep hydrated.  Be nice to the environment and bring refillable bottles.

Chairs: It's a long day and many people bring their own chairs.  As the festival takes place in a public space bringing a fold out chair would be advisable, you can sit and relax!

Waste: Please help us keep Fitzroy Gardens clean by tiding up after the event. Bins are provided so please use them.  Thank you.

What's On?
There’s a lot happening over the course of the day. Make sure you know what's on, when and where so that you can get the most out of the day.  A timetable of events can be found on the 'Entertainment’ page.  You can also get a pdf of the Festival Program from the home page.

Where is the Festival?

Make sure you know where you’re going and how to get there.  Public Transport is perhaps the easiest option.  If you do drive keep in mind that parking can be an issue.  For more information on getting there check out our ‘Getting there' page.

The Weather

As anyone who has lived in Melbourne for more than two days can tell you, it’s not unusual for the weather to change.  We can’t control the weather so please check the forecast and dress appropriately.  Make sure to wear sun cream.  Sun cream will be available at the Info tent.

Please help us keep Fitzroy Gardens clean by tiding up after the event. Thank you.
